Are weekends halting your weight loss progress? I hear this a lot and I've helped so many clients overcome this issue and NOT by simply telling them to stop going out or enjoying themselves either! Let's get into this..
When I meet with potential new weight loss clients for the first time, I always ask about their goals, what they may have tried before and work hard to learn more about them in order to find a strategy that will really work to achieve the most effective results for them! A large number of clients however, often highlight that they've always struggled to stay on track with their weight loss goals at the weekend by having a 'blow out' and let's be honest here, this can be a real challenge for many! There's more potential for social events, snacks/nibbles, eating out/takeaways as well as a posed risk for less overall awareness and monitoring of your eating behaviours.
By overindulging at the weekend, this can effectively undo all of an individuals hard work in the week! However, this does NOT mean it's not possible. By a long shot.
